Next character I decided to draw for Pride Month is Lexington from Gargoyles, who was confirmed to be gay. It honestly surprised me when I found out that Lex was gay, I never really got that impression from the show, though I guess it's more of a thing in the comics, apparently in the Gargoyles comics Lexington crushes on this winged reindeer guy named Staghart. Though I think the subtlety of Lexington's sexuality says a lot about how good of lgbtq representation he is since it doesn't define him. When I think of Lexington, I usually thought more about how proficient he was with technology despite literally being from medieval times, making him essentially the Donatello of the group. Overall Lex is a fun character and pretty good lgbtq representation.

Which is why Gargoyles is a true gem. Nothing is used as a marketing ploy or to just make fun of people. The stories were rich and well thought out and the villains had true character to them and actually made me rethink on if some of them were truly evil or just misguided.
