I tried out as well, too, but it was kind of a disaster because I wasn't prepared for the version of "Gold Digger" to be more like Kanye's and less like Will Schuster's.
So I sang "Lean On Me," which isn't really in my range and thus sounded pretty awful--but at least it was a song I kinda knew.
