Type: Ballier.
Noodle name: Amphibia canis.
Life expectancy in the wild: Up to 30 years.
Life expectancy at home: Up to 65 years.
Height: From 15 cm to 25 cm at the shoulders.
Weight: Up to 1 kg.
Length: back - 30 cm, tail - from 40 cm to 50 cm.
Most often, individuals with a marine skin tone are found, however, the color can be of any pastel color. Sometimes there are rare spots or stripes, but the main color remains uniform.
All individuals have red legs and ears.
Sexual differences can be seen by the color of the branchial processes and the stripe on the sides.
Females have only warm shades.
Males are only cold shades.
The skin is covered with varying degrees of poison. It is released from the pores depending on the consumption of various plants and insects. Depending on the assumptions of the ballira in food, the strength and type of poison can vary.
They lead a gregarious lifestyle and form pairs for life.
After mating, the females go inland and look for small fresh water bodies, where they spend the entire period of pregnancy. The laid eggs are collected in a throat sac and cared for until the tadpoles appear. At this stage, the role of motherhood ends. As soon as the babies hatch, the mother releases them into the pond and goes back to the coast.
Tadpoles live in water bodies until they are fully formed. Formed puppies leave the water and move to live in trees until they fully mature.
The adult fish returns to the coast and joins the general flock or forms their own small group.
Balliers do not feel bad at home, subject to the conditions of detention.
A spacious polydarium with sea or semi-sea water is required.
They quickly get used to hands and easily make contact with a person. They are able to recognize the owner and even learn simple commands.
If you do not give poisonous plants and insects, then the ballier ceases to emit poison and does not pose a threat.
