[07/28/10] While taking a stroll along the Minnesota River I tried taking some action shots of the sand Wizard would kick up as he ran through the sand deposits made by the flooding this spring. I was just point-and-shooting with the SLR, so most of them ended up focusing on the wrong things.

This isn't focusing on the thing I wanted it to focus on, but I think it ended up focusing on the right thing for the photo. I like the shape of the dust cloud, and if you look closely at Wizard's retreating (out of focus) backside you can see 3 or 4 stray Husky undercoat hairs blowing off him in the breeze.

I named this "Pigpen" in honor of the Peanuts character.
