A while back I mentioned a goal to eventually do at least one pregnancy piece of most species. So here is my first reptile piece.
The challenge with such a goal is that I like to reference the art of others to eyeball for details that I might miss looking at pictures of the real thing. Apparently, "pregnant iguana" is not terribly common.
The belly itself was mostly looking at real life images. I had wanted to make her seem more... "mammal", but part of my brain wanted a bit more accuracy to the physical build of iguana. So this is the result. As some on FA like to call, "eggnant" or "eggnancy".
All in all, I think for my first attempt, it's not too bad.
