Fury just wants to make it clear that she is not a bird of the feathered kind.

Just a little sketch coz so many artists and non Monster Hunter people think shes a Bird or a Gryphon.
Her species is called "Nargacuga" , a Silver Wind variant- it's from the Monster Hunter series. The best way to describe them is a cat and bat dragon hybrid. The wings are kinda useless for flight, more used for defence, like arm guards. Her beak is full of sharp teeth as she is a carnivore. I think its more like face armour than be a beak.

Call her a dragon, a monster, a wyvern (swift wyvern in the games) or even kitty.
