This was made back before my son was born. We were hoping to be able to make this scene real, but my wife never got full term. Certain complications required an emergency C-section at 7 months. And unfortunately, real life pregnancy may not be a thing any more. It's just going to be daughter and son.
I was in a discussion with some friends this morning about "vent art", and how it can be used to convey a number of things.
I suppose the fact that my wife and I can't enjoy any more of it... this, this drawing of each pregnant character, named and unnamed, is I suppose my vent art. Not anger... not quite disappointment. Just longing.
Thinking about our dreams.
