The long and short of Packard is as follows:

Packard is an AI, currently residing inside of a mid 90's computer, which he was specifically written for. HE was not originally intended to have a body, but once development was finished, the creator (a fennec) ended up designing and building a 3 foot tall robotic body to house the computer. The body also contains two densely packed lead-acid batteries to power the computer. Once Packard had freedom of movement, the creator then decided to make the body look a little more natural and had it covered in a thin layer of soft silicone, then another layer of fur, to make him less... terrifying...

Although Packard 1.0 has no genitals, he does go by male pronouns.
