I'm not sure if this is too dark or too light (my monitors are both light/dark, not really in the middle), but I really do like how it turned out, and enjoyed working on my favorite recycled paper and getting to play around with it in PS afterwards.
Plus, it helps that I love getting an opportunity to draw kendavi/my personal characters, so it was a real treat for Kace to come up with this idea :) Kinda based the setting on the type of almost-urban-but-more-run-down-suburban town like I grew up in. Kinda nostalgic!

I'm positively glowing for your compliment, and hearing that something I drew could have an impact on someone. I'm serious extremely, extremely flattered by your comments (and this one in particular!). I don't often hear things like that, and while what I mostly post here is porn, it feels so good that when I draw more personally heartfelt art, that other people can also get something out of the picture.
