Mitch-Kun's new sassy, strong, blunt and to the point female lead who wields a longsword, Rucie!
I may clean up the rest of the art later, but I wanted to submit this for now for reference purposes!
Rucie is a key character to Mitch-Kun's world, and a core member of the Wives. She is intelligent, and seldom bogged down by emotional thinking, and this proves a good foil to Mitch-Kun, who is often brash, a bit childish, and emotionally driven.
Story time: Upon initial conception, Rucie was a male salamence by the name of Rucifel, from which Rucie is derived, so Rucie is technically trans female.
Spoilers: The story information below may be considered spoilers towards the retelling of my cumulative story that I intend to begin soon. If you don't care about experiencing the lore now, go for it. Otherwise, that will come in time!
In the previous worldline (now redacted, although most elements remain unaltered, it is worth mentioning) Rucie nearly killed Mitch-Kun on the way of attempting to create a world that she believed would be just and fair, believing Mitch-Kun's world's allowance of vice and dark behavior to be the result of a complacent and ignorant deity. However, throughout that journey, Rucie would learn that it is through the existence of free will that decisions, be they good or evil, manifest; Mitch-Kun's desire for his dream world being a place wherein he could be happy, but not at the expense of individual freedoms.
The source of Rucie's ire towards Mitch-Kun was revealed to be the "loss" of her sister as a Wife to Mitch-Kun. Rucie would not see her again afterward. However, it came to be revealed that Rucie's sister, Semantha, had actually manipulated Mitch for monetary gain to start her own business before basically abandoning him.
With newfound understanding of the person Rucie once villainized, and desire for true justice and honor, Rucie gained compassion and understanding towards Mitch-Kun. Feeling it a dishonor and injustice to him, Rucie would offer to be a wife in place of Semantha, to grant him the wife and family which he was falsely promised, feeling it a duty as not only a blood relative, but considering everything that transpired. Mitch-Kun initially denied the idea, insisting that debt or guilt shouldn't be the driving factor. But, to Rucie, honor and justice was everything. But more than that, Rucie saw the good in his heart, and feared the consequences should someone attempt to utilize him in such a manner again. It was at that moment Rucie had firmly decided that a love and a desire to protect Mitch-Kun had developed in heart, and thusly, would not take no for an answer. It would be then that she would be made female, and, not hampered in her abilities or prowess in the slightest by that, would make it her goal to be as close to him as often as possible--to keep him safe, whatever the threat, even if it's his own naivety.
Rucie is very blunt and truthful. Her heart always means well, but she is very direct. She does not often wear her emotions openly, and often reserves them for fear of appearing weak. She has a glare that could cut steel, and tends to have that "resting bitch face". Her weapon of choice is a longsword, which she tends to wield with both hands, and very aggressively. Rucie is perceptive, quick to act, but rationally and with intent. A force to be reckoned with and in no-wise a push-over. Her emotions may be hidden, but her drive and ambition not so, and everything she does is done with every inch of her fervor. She does bond to things and people strongly, albeit, she always expresses it in more of an "It's reliable, so I treat it well" manner, she is very much attached to her personal weapon, as well as her boots-- the latter so much so, she refuses to allow them to get wet or sullied. Why that is, is anyone's guess honestly. Even I don't know.
