It's a part of map contstruction for games like Unreal Tournement 2004 and the like.
The map itself is -basicly a big box (this is a simplification) - the roof and walls of the box are 'painted' or textured to look like sky and surrounding country.
What you have here would be an excelent start to a really awesome skybox.
