I kept the background simple as to be reminiscent of the background on the original drawing, for a bit I was going to make this a complicated full wallpaper with a totally different Boardwalk themed setting but ended up nixing that.
IDK what's supposed to be going on with the back of her dress, it was supposed to be a wind effect but why would it be sagging so low... I really need to learn fabrics but man they're just beyond me for some reason

I kinda prefer the lighter red, funny thing; in the older picture her hair was meant to be this same shade of red as it is now but it appears darker. Reason being was on my old PC monitor I had some sort of 'Color Enhance' mode turned on which brightened up certain colors (notably reds) meaning everything looked different to me than they did everyone else. I never really noticed it until I started comparing with other screens and turned the Color Enhancer off. There's some old drawings of mine where the colors are really off and weird (especially shade colors) thanks to that.
