Sassy is the new female red wolf in the red wolf enclosure and the North Carolina Zoo. After Pigeon passed away a few month ago, Sassy was introduced into the enclosure and now spends time with Flint. Like flint, she also enjoys jumping onto the rock to look around. They just recently had pups together as well, and for the first time in 20 years, red wolf pups should be visible in the enclosure at the North Carolina Zoo! I'm going to try photographing them as best as I can, so my weekends for the next couple months will likely be comprised of getting up early and going to the zoo. I hope the weather won't be too oppressive with the heat and that I'll be able to share some lovely red wolf pup photos with you guys. :3
