Both me and  tomoefuchs are book examples. I used to be against these weird labels not so long ago, I felt like they're unnecessary. But now I know not everybody actually feels this way, and these further classifications are here to help us identify ourselves and others better. I never doubted that I fully fit this category (not understanding the whole dating thing or flirting or the vulgar humor, not feeling the same about crushes as others, having no need for a relationship in the first place, never understanding the people who are attracted to an asshole since wtf how, he's an asshole?), but accepting it's a different kind of sexuality makes it easier for me to respect other people who are not. Do whatever makes ya happy, just make sure to be honest about it and make sure you have full consent.
The same goes the other way around. I sadly saw people who were claiming monogamy and exclusivity to such a high extend is "toxic af" and "unhealthy" in a relationship. Uh, no?? Some people simply feel and need different things, and that's okay. Having a partner who feels and needs the same things as you is the main base to having a healthy relationship. I literally couldn't be any happier with my clingy man, because I'm clingy myself. We simply don't care about anybody else. As my wolfo said: "I'm not into men or women, I'm into you". And it couldn't be more true for our demisexual asses. He's my one and only, the love of my life, my soulmate, I never loved someone so much and I never will again, nor would I want to - and the fact that he's exactly the same as me, that he feels the same way, is a very important part of this. I'm Tomoe's, always was and always will be only his no matter what, and I couldn't be happier and more proud, because Tomoe to me is 120% perfect, but also just in general, he's the most wonderful person by DAMN far that I ever got the honor to know. There's literally nothing this man is not absolutely perfect and wonderful in, nothing, and I can't believe he's actually mine. PLEASE NEVER CHANGE EVER I LOVE YOU 💖 💕 💖 oh and happy #pridemonth
