Born Hilda, the cross-fox joined the Berlin Division of Germany's national police force, marrying a fellow officer named Rolf when they were already having gender dysphoria. By the time their son (Rolf Jr.) was ten they had become estranged. Hilda began transitioning shortly before the divorce, and changed their name to Hamo in honor of their grandfather. They remarried, this time to a legal clerk named Karin; they have one daughter, Margot (age 3).
Still not completely transitioned, Hamo's using the they/them/their pronouns.
