Severely Amateur Tonal Exploration

So I tried my hand at music once more. Unfortunately, I have gotten only slightly better from my past week of toying around!
I feel it started out incredibly strong in the first 7 seconds, then shot straight down to just below mediocre. Feeling that effect as I was making it, I cut it short at 40 seconds and called it a day, rather than stay up to 6 AM retooling the whole thing.
Time to start from scratch with a new attempt. Something with a different feel, perhaps, this whole classical instruments thing is daunting.
