First Fursuit Head [Stone Horse Keeper]
Alright, I haven't posted anything in a while so I figured I'd throw this up in my gallery cause it's not in there yet.
Yes, this was my first attempt at making a fursuit head back in 2016 and I decided to get some proper pictures of it as I had to give them a little bit of a cleaning from all the dust.
There are a LOT of things that I did on this guy that I wouldn't repeat. Let's see...
- The fur was just carefully glued on instead of being sewn together and then glued on the foam
- There are certain parts where the foam is visible (inside the cheeks)
- I didn't get the face correct from the front in comparison to the reference
- And just some general methodology that could've been thought out better
But that's what first tries are for, and I learned a lot from it. Like what shit quality fur is and why it's considered such lol
Even after all this time though I still enjoy how it came out. I'd just... definitely scrap the whole thing and retry if I were ever to return to the project
