A collector brought this work to my attention, who was curious about using a pregnant model. As it happens, I have no interest in pregnant models, but some of my customers had had so in the past. The customer is one I was able to identify from my records, and was surprised to see that he had put the original art up for sale. But ... people get tired of old stuff in their collection and often want to make room for new acquisitions. I had no copy of the art, as such, only a low-rez file on FurBay (or whatever). However, I had complete redrawn the art anyway, copying it faithfully in every way except for the pregnancy. That's the version I scanned for the first time this evening. One of these days I must do something to systematically scan more of my old, pre-2001 work for digital storage.

The funny thing that the sketch on the aisle still hints at a rounded belly.. which prompts some kind of ironic feeling in this situation :P
Also odd that no one ever asked you about some kind of ooze\shapeshifter\startrek changeling character as it maybe tangentially linked to wet&messy when interacting with others.. unless we don't know something ^.^

Good stuff here! And I did the whole "Scan in all my tradidtional commissions and prints" thing January 2020. 400+ things to scan, some 18x24 just about. On and off took 4 months to do. It does take time, for sure but worth it.
Not sure your setup but I used GIMP 2.x in Windows to scan it all in and do the levels and color balance tweaks to look as close to the original as possible. removed yellowing on some, etc.

I use Photoshop 5.5. I have a copy of a later version, but I'm not very familiar with it, and disliked some features that had been changed. But you're right, doing a good job of scanning can be very time consuming. Particularly if it is pencil work. Inked scans are much easier, and take little or no tweaking of
the image. But pencil drawings are murder..
