The lightning came out great, I love lightning, and the little highlights and details in the wings are beautiful. I'm glad you showed us what we can't see in the submited version. =)

I believe this might be one of your better works here. It is just... it is beyond amazing.

Well I never work on this sorta thing for myself, as I am always trying to work for other people, and it's not often someone will want such a high detailed piece due to their finances, but this was a great opportunity for me to play about with tools and learn a few things... and because the process with the client was so comfortable I went a bit further than I could have.

This piece was 5000 x 4500 (approx). It was so huge that my PC ran out of memory trying to work on it, nearly corrupted the file and I had to try about 10 times to resize it in order to finish, so it ended up a bit smaller than it started XD I do work really massive, probably too massive >.>;!

teehee! Aww hun, thank you so much. I can explain how to do it if you want! But you can cheat, I am sure photoshop has lots of brushes, I jsut referenced lots of photos to see how lightning behaves in real storms, and it all sorta happened like that voer a few hours. I used luminousity (layer filter) for the luminance glowy bits... and built a few of those up and then added mroe cloads to make the forks of lightning jump into them. X3
