Sometimes a little comment on "helping" someone by doing it better for them is all the motivation needed to to try and out do the helper. Alan here doesn't like the insinuation here and is determined to show
berylium that he more than capable of embiggening anything he so chooses thank you very much. Truth is Beryl being an actual demon (Alan just likes to play act it), probably has far more ability in alteration, enchantment, or what ever school of magic is needed to make BLK a sizable spectacle.
Anyway this was done initially as a random doodle a few weeks back, but I had fun with it and colored it all up.
Is there any case where someone offering to help you just drove you to be better on your own? My father used to want to "fix" my art work when I was first starting, but the idea of someone else putting lines on my piece rubbed me the wrong way. He eventually started to just redraw the piece to show the issue. I took the propensity of him to draw corrected versions of things and weaponized it, by purposely drawing something incorrect to get him to do a piece of artwork. It got him into drawing more regularly, and then eventually streaming drawing together with me (We draw most Sundays together on picarto).
Also as a quick note, there was nothing malicious with dad trying to help, but I really just didn't like other people drawing on my at the time pencil and paper work (red lining on another copy of something digital is fine, but the actual piece is a no-go for me).

Poor BLK. He was just minding his own business when this argument suddenly arose. And now he has too. XD
As for the question, no one really offered to help me with my art problems (and those rare few who did were quite rude about the way I drew). I usually ended up asking for assistance, and I still seem to from time to time. It's likely because I haven't really improved much in the last five years or so.

It's always good to be efficient, I say. It saves on excessive magic use and those loftier sizes, whether upward or outward, become much easier to reach!~
I don't know if I've been in a situation like that, but I do know that seeing others succeed can inspire me to try harder as well. It's kind of what got me into writing about bigness after all.
