The idea was basing it off of modern day fighter pilot equipment as a reference, but it's not from anything in particular!
It does look very similar to one of the armors in XCOM though, vibe-wise, but that wasn't intentional.
Could also look a lil similar to Cadian environmental gear from 40k, also unintentional!
