Omg I love this design so much! He looks like a humble but eloquent warrior. Perhaps this fox is a forlorn noble who left his family after having a disagreement with his father, a rich landowner, on how he treated his subjects. The swords could be stolen family heirlooms the fox took with him before running away, which means that he is now tracked by bounty hunters his paternal hired to retrieve the precious objects.
