Aw, HELL yeah! Nothing screams "I love the 90's" more than giant robots.
The concept of the "Mecha" robot was, In my opinion, perfected in the 90's. Giant robots have been around since "the wizard of oz" (Tin man), but it wasn't until the 90's that the Robot took on a more "War like" appearance. Games like "Earthsiege" and "Mechwarrior" began to appear on the market, both featuring the same thing: Giant, kick-ass robots armed with futuristic destructive marvels.
