Another project that took much too long to complete, I actually did the initial layouts for this some time in the 90's (I can't even remember when). Then I just sat on it for years, and eventually lost them. I only had the 2 pages I uploaded in my scraps left. Inexplicably, I suddenly got the desire to finish it, which meant redoing the layouts for the lost pages 3, 4 and 5. Luckily I still had a pretty good memory of how I wanted the visuals to go.

The song is probably older than most people reading this-- from Jeff Lynne's (Electric Light Orchestra) first (or maybe second, depending on what criteria used) band. Very (VERY) heavily influenced by Sgt. Pepper-era Beatles, Mr. Crow could be the Idle Race's version of Mr. Kite.

Of course there's still a lot of things in this that could be improved, but I didn't want to spend a million years on something that's supposed to be kind of a silly lark. I can safely say this is probably the only time I'll ever draw a ventriloquist dummy, which came out a bit creepier than I'd intended.
