It had been some days, the youngling still wondered how he had survived for so long, but now as the days drew on, his lack of nurishment was starting to take away at what little strength his underdeveloped togruta body had. Catching a thimiar was out of the question, he could never bring himself to finish ones life if he caught it himself. He wondered sillently how he had managed to survive again for this long without alerting preditors during his night terrors, but at this rate if he did not shout in fear in his dreams, his stomach would surely give him away with its needy growls. As he went about, near hopelessly for food, a small feeling, almost akin to a tingle through his skin as though the air was pulling at his senses to a certain spot. He had no reason to argue with the feeling, what else did he have to try would he debate with himself, however again as he became lost in these thoughts the pull occured to him yet again, this time drawing his focus upwards. Along the top of the tall tree of the forest, he could just spot their white forms poking against the mass of red that was the leaves "..f-fruit!"
With a rekindled spirit, the youngling pushed on in a flash of orange and white, gripping at any parts to the tree his fingers could grasp as he began the slow climb upward. It was time tasking, the young togruta did not know how long the trip along the branches was taking him to the items of his desire. More then once he had to rest to gather the air to his lungs again and again, giving him time to set his weak gaze outwards, perhaps this was the tallest tree of his planet as he could see over much of the forest already but still had some ways to travel to gather the fruit along the top. A single streak of light pushed its way through the evening sky, the togruta recalling some storys of making a wish could be granted upon such a sight, but he only had but one wish he solemly spoke to himself "..Great spirits..please just..dont let me be alone forever....."
The thoughts, pushed aside to keep the grief from worming through his mind again, the Youngling began anew, climbing closer still to his meal still a bit from his reach. Steadily though, branch by branch he drew close, finally the fruit were but a mere stones toss from him, just one more branch and he could finally slate his hunger for a day, perhaps even use this tree to rest to the night. Alas though, a cold dread grew over him, as though a massive beasts shadow washed itself over his image to bathe him in the fear, it was not close, it was not near enough but he knew the feeling well, of the strange Akul beast that he had been seeing the past days. Before, by mere wills of the spirit of the earth it felt like he had been unoticed to it when it was close enough to touch him, but now, now it was if it looked to his very soul, as if to say it would come for him. All at once, the fear shot the strange ghostly pain through his shoulder, the entire arm he was using to keep himself up right as he began to reach for the next branch, lossing its strenght and his weight causing him to fall back. Eyes widening in fear as he tried to grasp for anyting, but to no avail, unable to do anything else, the fall, the strange feeling of the almost alien creature of his homeland, his dispear all acting as a crushing force within the pit of his being.
The youngling shout in fear, all at once, the forest drew quiet as his eyes saw the tall tree seem to grow before him, as earth beneath grew wide to accept him once more...
