"Question: Is there such thing as an albino cicada?
Answer: No. When most cicadas first emerge they are white in color. Gradually, their bodies become a darker color. Some take longer than others to change. Some die before the change can occur."
So maybe yours hasn't changed yet, or wont before it dies.

well then doesnt that mean there are albino cicada? i mean if they die before they change then they have spent their whole life as albinos? right? either way it looks totally awesome. not to mention there are always variations in nature and science...always that one unique individual that defies logic and science.
Hmm. It's wings are milky and they look a little droopy. It looks like she hasn't dried yet. That might explain her colouration.
Usually wet cicadas are greener though, so she may be albino. Did you see her dry completely? She has to be completely vertical for her wings to dry right, if not, pockets of fluid will start to appear on her wings and she'll never be able to fly.
