Argus the Scryer, one of an unknown number of Ley Dragons.
Argus is a curious creature. He claims to be male, though he features no gender of any description. He is also composed almost entirely of Ley-line arcane magic, being only a small portion organic. He has many forms, being able to shapeshift at will, but he is generally roughly the size of a large dog.
He's of the Ley Dragons, a reclusive and extremely long-lived species of dragon that can be found wherever the Ley-lines converge. When asked how many of his fellow Ley Dragons exist, he always answers with 'enough'. His most common forms are a mature dragon of about three to four feet high and a young Drake which is usually a foot tall.
He's the oddest of the odd, being far more intelligent about magic and its use than anyone alive, yet at the same time air-headed and simple minded. He is often seen staring blankly at the floor, usually in the same few locations around the Temple of Light. Usually he will tell people who ask what he's doing that he is 'observing'. This has led most to believe that the locations he frequents are converging locations of the Ley-lines, and that he is watching for irregularities.
He doesn't eat, nor drink or sleep.
He doesn't breathe, either...
