Argent with crew in a sea port somewhere. For most of the war of 1813–1814 Argent and his crew were seconded to the naval base of Karlskrona as a sea scout. Despite their best efforts, the navy failed to make much of an impression, and the only "victory" they saw was when Argent himself - against orders and out of frustration with the navy - dove down, picked up an enemy gunboat and flung it at a battleship, causing minimal damage and earning him stern reprimand.
