Shiori used to be a stage magician until one day while shopping for props she accidentally broke a real magic wand and the resulting cloud of magical dust transformed her into the bouncy dragoness she is today. The store's owner said he was very sorry but when Shiori asked why she had been turned into an eastern dragon the owner simply pointed to the label on the bottom of the wand: Made in China.
