As for what I see in this picture... Everything is a struggle. Far too often you have to endure pain to get a hold of something, and far too often it slides out of your hands again, hurting you and throwing you back when it does. Even small steps take a long, painful time. At the end awaits light, a good life, freedom even, but the way up is long... and your hands are already torn open, and you are exhausted. So very exhausted. And whether you will actually make it to the light will depend on whether you will find a place to rest along the way.
