Oooo very beautiful. I like how much you've paid attention to the anatomy to make them "correct" for a plantigrade type paw. Using the Footpaw Classification System or FCS for short (something Sera and I came up with for when I used to do the Paw-Post), we call this a C3 type paw. C3's still have a heel and a structure where you have an inner/outer arch because, physically, it makes sense for walking (heel-to-toe). Love that you can see that clearly here. The pads are beautifully shaped and detailed out as is the fur around them. Extra touches like the toe-rings are always sexy too. The one suggestion I could offer for tweaking would be the claw's super-close proximity to the toe; I think they'd stick out a bit more if fixed (though if retractable, then this could be a partial retraction look).
Yeah it does - very good middle-ground. And yes, we came up with the system as a way of tagging links to artists work that were included with each weekly news-post, which made it easier to know (at a glance) what sort of foot/paw the picture would contain. People that had preferences one way or another could then easily see which links might interest them. What we didn't realize is that a lot of artists ended up liking the system and use it to help understand what sort of foot someone wants on a commission, so if you feel it helps, please go ahead and use it!
You're welcome! We're hoping one of these days to get a much more thorough version of what ImpXimon did to further/better illustrate it all on one sorta poster-like page. Also, may revise it slightly to split "human" into it's own class, since for now, that's a C1. Heh... therein is the only problem when you come up with an organised system; you keep finding ways to tweak it. XD
