Balesh all nice and colored for everyone, copied her story and the like as I'm adding this to the main gallery.
The Osicir tribe is a race of dragon snakes with a matriarchal system. In this tribe there are 4 types of roles:
Necix - Chief of Tribe:
- Those that have fertility, body for reproduction and hunting. Chosen by a Natrix for presenting qualities of leadership, wisdom, mettle and appropriate physical aspects. They are in charge of leading, defending, caring, guiding and administering the tribe. There may be more than one.
Venatrix - Huntress:
- Those dedicated to hunting on land or in the sea, with fine and agile bodies. Chosen by a Natrix for presenting qualities of astuteness, agility, energy and appropriate physical aspects. They are in charge of providing food to the tribe, as well as defending it in case of attacks. The leader of the hunters is given the title of Sum-Venatrix.
Natrix - In charge of motherhood and education:
- Those dedicated to the reproduction, education, motherhood, and selection of applicants. Chosen by a Natrix for presenting maternal qualities, educational, leadership, serenity and appropriate physical aspects such as high fertility and large hips for reproduction. They are responsible for caring for and educating the offspring of the tribes, as well as selecting the path they must travel when they become adults. The leader of the Natrix is given the title of Sum-Natrix.
Pythonix - Chaman:- Those dedicated to the study of magic, herbs, and medicine. Chosen by other Pythonix for presenting tuning towards magic, herbal knowledge, and medicine. They are in charge of carrying out the sacred rituals of the tribe for hunting, fertility, and adulthood, as well as being the doctors of the tribe and being spiritual guides. The leader of the shamans is given the title Sum-Pythonix.
Balesh's story:
Balesh is a calm and caring Osicir, often refered to as Mother Balesh. She was in charge of the fertility rituals to let a willing Osicir give birth to an egg/child, although some Osicirians wish for a child but are to scared to give birth to one. In those circumstances Balesh steps up and gives birth to an egg for them, it is not uncommon for such a thing to happen and Balesh doesn't mind doing so when the time arises. Balesh also taught many young Osicir about the ritual of fertility and what is required to make it happen. She even taught Iazi, although Iazi never payed attention and usually snuck out when Balesh wasn't looking. Balesh was in the market square when a large explosion erupted from a district just nearby, she was unfortunately caught within the blast and managed to mitigate most of the damage done to her and a few others with magic. Sadly for Balesh, she lost her eye from a stray piece of debris, others were concerned for her, but Balesh ushered who she could to safety first. Because of the time she spent neglecting aid in service of aiding others Balesh's eye could not be saved. Due to Veskanya's later banishment alongside Iazi a Pythonix had to find a means to replace Balesh's lost eye. A prosthetic eye was made using the same crystals that not only kept their land a float but also fueled their magic and spell casting. Because of this Balesh ended up gaining an increased surge of mana that would help increase her physical and magical capabilities, as well as a few other beneficial things. After a good amount of time another disaster ended up happening causeing less destruction and injuries then the first one, but still an issue nonetheless. Balesh went to go investigate and found Obeka missing from Veskanya's now destroyed study. Balesh knew Obeka was one to put the blame onto themselves even if it wasn't their fault, she was a kind sister with a good heart. Balesh let out a sigh as she knew Obeka probably banished herself with guilt, now she would have to find her and bring her back, if she wanted to of course.
Her weapon of choice is a naginata to which she combines the reach and finesse with a florish of magic and spells.
Likes: Fruits, flowers, happiness, kids, teaching, cheering people up, all those from the tribe
Dislikes: Sadness, frowns, self loathing, self doubt
