When Torun died, his older brother could not believe it. He denied the very possibility that he could walk the earth alone, without Torun, his pesky little brother.
Realization collapsed later, the Elda's breath caught and he locked himself in, splashing out rage and resentment on the walls and furniture. Devastated, he left his home and returned only a few years later. He spent time with his parents out of politeness, but by nightfall he disappeared; deep in the forest, he created an altar, where he brought the skeleton of his brother. The body no longer resembled Torun, it impersonalized him and the Eld could not help but be angry at the skeleton covered with strong skin. Placing the mummy on the altar, he began the complex ritual that he had been searching for all these years and for which he prepared. He won't let this little asshole leave him here alone.
Things didn't go according to plan; unable to firmly cling to his long-dead body, Torun merged with a strong living organism, the only one next to him was his brother.
Now the two are inseparable and most likely immortal. Torun, the youngest, has not yet forgotten the afterlife, but naively hopes to return to a normal life. He grows a mane, denies dark magic and harbors a grudge against his brother.
The elder Eld feels regret and bitterness; he is disappointed in himself and in his brother. He hates it when something dangles in front of him eyes and violently cuts off her mane as soon as it gets too long. He is enchanted with gold and does not give up trying to rectify the situation, going through book after book and delving into necromancy.
