tried my hand at some lighting thingies...and the lazy way of making the light of a flashlight...



the noon 'ak are a sentient race that live in cave systems where tree roots penetrate. they feed by using needle like fingers to penetrate the roots and take the nutrients from the trees. their skin over time has hardened to a somewhat bark like material. slightly more flexible. every move they make looks painful. they were once thought by native americans to be nature spirits and their bioluminescent lights that wave around their heads on worm-like appendiges were thought to be ghosts of dead warriors being carried to the other side. in actuality it is just a way they communicate.
