This time last year I wasn't really out to anyone. I was experimenting with a more effeminate presentation around one particular friend, but that was it. It wasn't until later in June that I finally came out to that friend and my mother in a moment of emotional crisis.

I'm now out to my whole family and all of my friends. At 33, I'm on my fifth month of HRT. The only place I'm still closeted is work, and I'm trying to build up the nerve to find a job where I can be me full time.
