I never asked for a hero, not one that would fight,
I never asked for love, not at first sight,
I never asked for perfection, that would just be a bore,
I never asked for fame, not to be legend or lore,
All I asked for was a smile, a kindness so small.
A friend who would be there, offer a hand when I fall,
So I sit here right now, the rain now numb to me,
I check my cellphone, for what time it may be,
I grew tired of it all, the waiting and the thinking,
So I sit here and watch, the time, never blinking,
For a moment, a second, during my life,
where all is right, and I see hope, during strife.

Sorry, It was a really bad day the other day, and one of my self help things to do, instead of ranting, and crying and throwing a fit of rage, is to sit and channel all that emotion through my pen and just draw, anyways, this is what came out, no critique please, cause I know a lot is wrong with it, I didn't try and pay attention to detail on this one.
