:| This is not a TUTORIAL...thing. Please don't nitpick. **Will be scrapped later.
On of my 'artistic-pet-peeves' is how a majority of the art community proclaim "I suck at drawing this or that", and just...don't do anything about it. D:
What you see here is pretty much me admitting that I am still not that confident at drawing feet, so what did I do? I STUDIED THEM. Google, Bing, Wiki and staring at my own feet for reference. Still have a lot to learn, but I am taking the steps to try at least! Drawing anthros for the past 10yrs definitely makes this hard. Mostly in the fact that I tend to naturally draw short/stumpy human toes.
Critique welcome; please be gentle. :'c

Thanks! I know these are far from "right", but I'd rather make progress than sit around wishing I could draw them better. Haha. Yeah, the fact that hands & feet come in SO MANY varieties means that even when they're "wrong", it could just be mistaken for a bone disease, dis-figuration and other genetic or injury situations. Just aiming for a base standard that's most recognizable. :)
Oddly enough (guess I've looked at my feet enough over the years) I've never had an entirely huge problem drawing feet. (though I like your studies on how the toes and such sit depending on where the weight is being distributed, I'll definitely have to study that more)
Hands... on the other hand (lol)... This does inspire me to sit around and start drawing hands as studies again. It's been too long.
I think these look pretty great though! And I like the ones that are all "NO!" lol <3

So excuse the fact that I'm bored and creeping through your scraps gallery, but on the foot that says "NO", it makes me laugh because some people's toes actually go flat across like that. Sometimes even the index toe (is that what they're called?) is longer than the big toe.
Anyway, that's my two cents on your awesome foot study.
