Hey everyone.
So I did have the day off, thanks to those who served in our wars and fought for our freedom (My sincere thanks to you all). On Saturday, I spent some of my day table shopping so I could replace a smaller table in my gaming room with a larger one. Found this beauty brand new - paid a pretty penny, but it was large, sturdy, and stylish. I bought it and had it delivered today, and spent most of the day assembling it.
Here it is, along with my laptop and LCD TV I bought a few weeks back - My local game group has members in Seattle that used to just do Discord Video, and it never worked well. Since the pandemic, we used Tabletop Simulator to continue, and found it much better than setting up minis and video feed cutouts. Now that the pandemic is lifting, we vaccinated few are allowed to congregate, so we decided to do so.
Premise is: Laptop has two screens - big one for TTS, the laptop screen for the camera view of the remote people. I have a webcam pointed at us, and we're all still on Tabletop Simulator - we have a microphone in front of us for our voice, hopefully directional enough to not cause feedback with the laptop speakers. GM will bring his own laptop for his view of the TTS board, rest of us just watching and interacting with the big screen.
And after all this setup - I'm pooped -_- But I diiiiid it! Yay!
Just wanted to share with you all. <3

Hadn't thought about streaming them - we just have some players who live hundreds of miles away. We used to just have one laptop's built in camera looking at the table with our minis, but now we have Tabletop Simulator for the board, and this layout for the zoomcall/camera.
Worked pretty well Tuesday!
