My 2021 entry for the Month of Mae, hosted by   Super_Retrotredo

This year's gif is a little different from the previous years. I originally came in without any sort of attachment to NitW, and saw this strictly as a good opportunity to take part in a community event and get some new art made as a result. The past couple of months have been a little rough, and finally stepping up to play NitW didn't exactly help me feel any better (just, horrible timing on my part, really), but it did help me realize that I had neglected the reason why people draw Mae in the first place... There's still a character attached to all of this. It isn't just lust - Behind it all, there is still a foundation of love. It wasn't what brought me here, but I respect it.

I don't know what I'll do next year.
