A slightly different view!
I wanted to draw the armor in it's full detail, and by nature of being a furry Letko's body obscured some parts. Here's the full armor minus the crop I had to do to get him into it- feel free to dress up your fur if desired, but please give credit if you chose to use it :3
Some background:
Letko is the last of his tribe, and his armor is an heirloom received from his father that belonged to his father's father and so on. The buckles on the shoulders were added to give the impression that Letko got the armor at a younger age, and are there to help adjust the fit as he grew taller/broader. The primary release mechanism is the 3-way paw print clasp on the chest (released by pressing the buttons on either side of the clasp) and the secondary mechanism is the string loosely tied on the backside below where Letko's tail would poke through. The buckle has two wolves facing one another on either side of an eggplant/moon scene. This was meant to be the oldest part of the whole setup, and the buckle is actually an emblem concealing PLOT DEVELOPMENT. Rotating the moon to full and pressing the buttons hidden on the eggplant releases the gemstone from the center...a thought that has occurred to no one in Letko's tribe for hundreds of years (that low Int/Wis life XD). The jewel itself is responsible for eggplants thriving in what would otherwise be a desolate wasteland, and the sustenance it provides Letko wherever he goes reflects the boon granted by the Gods to his ancestors so long ago. The thin cloth is a luxury for Letko's tribe and reflects stature/wealth (he is, technically, a chief)...but is mainly just an excuse to add some nice texture and drape a hunk in whisper thin fabric >_>;;. Oh yeah- the holes in the straps were conceived as sort of accessory slots for Letko to hook various things on to as needed, and his dagger/side satchel are connected in such a way. The holes in the main harness include metal guards to reflect this- can't have the leather stretching out! The leg bit was simplified cus I figured it would be neat if Letko did his own mods and added to the chest pieces.
A lot of the Harness design was inspired by work from https://lagartogear.com/. Check them out! The design for this was heavily inspired by the harness I purchased from them that can be seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20185546/
