She had to twist sideways to squirm through into her flats small bathroom. Well, small for a six foot human, for an eight foot something werewolf-vampire lady, there was barely space to wave her tail. But even so, Luc was able to bend over the sink, breathe in, and stare into the mirror to discover her new face.
She looked a lot like the wall by the shower.
The amazon turned, checked the wall, and then felt her carnivorous snout as if to confirm she still existed. Stranger things had happened today already, and turning invisible or non-existent was somehow less weird than her experience.
But no, she was solid, her hand and nose were visible. Just nothing showed of her reflection.
“Oooooooh,” A husky voice groaned as her excited tail went limp, “Vampires. No reflections. Duh.”
Even as the pop culture knowledge stirred, she couldn’t help but lean closer still, until she booped the mirror with her snout, to no avail. She was half vampire she guessed, it made sense that she had some traits beyond just wings and fangs. Though how many- would sunlight kill her? Stakes? It seemed rather overpowered if the game enabled nigh immortality based solely on race choice. What about weird curse stuff like being compelled to count, or the running water deal?
Abruptly, her sensitive eyes stung with pain as the mirror flared a blinding red light.
Second part of Luc’s tale for today, just to get us off to a good start. Part 3 will be up shortly, and will include a vote for a couple days.
