Book of legends volume 1
-page 63 - The Weaping Witch
A legend has been circulating for years all over the land. This is the legend of the weeping witch. All the accounts I have seen all revolve around the same story and it goes like this:
βAt night, if you walk by a cemetery and hear cry. Run, run as fast as you can, because the weeping witch is not far away and if she ever catches you, she will steal all your joy! β
From what I could gather, no one who has come in contact with the witch has been killed by her, but the majority mention a humanoid creature with a bushy tail crying in front of 3 unnamed gravestones. The very rare ones who approached her for a closer look said they felt tremendously sad when they approached her. Finally, falling to their knees, weeping a hot tear, until the light of the dawns brings light and happiness to their hearts. Kneeling in the cemetery, they had no trace of the witch or the graves, only the memory of this encounter.
