This is not necessarily furry, but it does deal with some of the themes and issues that I am planning on addressing more thoroughly in the future. Trees have a special meaning for me.
Generations—in my tree;
What will I tell the family?
True—we've fallen from the boughs,
But we take root—upon the ground.
I shiver here—devoid of heat,
And of this feast—none fit to eat.
Our love will help to melt the snow
We'll sow our seeds—where nothing grows.
My stomach full,I've empty heart
No apples here—how could I start?
Our roots to water—buds to sky—
Our hearts soon fill—from others' eyes.
It seems forever—and here I stand,
The moment that I touch your hand
The highest branches of the tree—
I feel you falling—into me.
Generations—in my tree;
What will I tell the family?
True—we've fallen from the boughs,
But we take root—upon the ground.
I shiver here—devoid of heat,
And of this feast—none fit to eat.
Our love will help to melt the snow
We'll sow our seeds—where nothing grows.
My stomach full,I've empty heart
No apples here—how could I start?
Our roots to water—buds to sky—
Our hearts soon fill—from others' eyes.
It seems forever—and here I stand,
The moment that I touch your hand
The highest branches of the tree—
I feel you falling—into me.
