used to be about five times as many of them though. especially the liberty ships that they used to bring the forces home from europe at the end of wwii.

real good view of the mothball fleet from amtrak 5/6 and the caltrain capitol commutes from/to sacramento and auburn. (i live in roseville and rode them down and back to furcon each of the times i've been)

(rode 27/28, 21/22 and 101/102 back in the pre amtrak day too of course)
