Since Armadillos are pretty defensive looking I thought it would be a good idea to make it the type of poisonous animal that is poisonous for defensive purposes rather than offensive ones. Since it's main defense is to curl up into a ball I thought wings would be more of a liability than a help so it is a wingless dragon.
It uses bright purple colours to advertise that eating it will likely kill you. It's main source of food is basically anything it can find and fit in its mouth. It lives in arid grasslands and digs holes in the earth with its large claws to hide from the sun during hot days as well as look for bugs to eat.
