No more stalling! Let's kick this pig!
I'll bet all 'yall thought that the title for the second issue was going to be "Ape Escape"! Well, I have some bad news for you. Due to legal troubles with the name, as well as the lack of klaxons to put on primates' heads, you're going to have to settle with 'Bankruptcy'.
I got some technical assistance from De Leon on this one, as well as a few others who kindly responded when I asked some questions about mortars. These artillerists may not be adhering to the US doctrine, but they're not 'Murkins! So there.
This was an entertaining page to color. I got to try on a few new effects and spruce up some old ones.

Very nice, looks like an accurate depiction of an 81mm mortar. Heavy firepower, defiantly something a military unit would have in their arsenal from WW2 onward to present. Don't get rid of something that works; unless you can make it cheaper, more powerful, tougher, and lighter usually.
I'm not sure how it would work, exactly, though if it were up to me I'd make it a blend between a third person shooter and a strategy game. In the strategic section of the game you would be able to make purchases and recruit, select theaters of combat, and generally manage the PMC, but hopefully this wouldn't be too excessive, allowing people to dive into a storyline for each section of the world Fred works in, and get to the shooting.
I'd probably try to avoid an ARMA II situation where you have a hopelessly convoluted command tree for your troops. A good friendly AI would be vital, since instructing your operatives in every single action and telling them to move along a series of waypoints like a bunch of slot cars isn't fun.
