Inviting you, yes you, to ask Ruth questions and receive in-character responses!

In the best traditions of Olde Tumblr (when it was good, or at least better than how it is now), Ask Ruth is an in-character 'askblog' from the point of view of my red panda character, Ruth. Along with answering questions she'll also blog about what's going on in her life, occasionally stopping to seek advice from the readers. Altogether it forms a sort of interactive narrative, asymmetrical roleplay experience, choose your own adventure sort of thing.

All this is taking place on a Discord server, using it as a sort of ersatz-blog platform. This comes after considering a few different platforms - Tumblr's shit the bed, Pillowfort's having teething problems - and seeing a few other people launching similar things on Discord. It also means I have tighter control and more experience with the technical side of things (I've been admin/mod for a few discord servers before). Discord's free, a lot of people have accounts already, and you can access it via web without having to download an app.

There'll be some timed-exclusive art posted there, as well. Illustrated scenes, telegram-style stickers, a few of my own sketches and maybe a few other surprises. It'll likely all show up here eventually, but you'll get early access to it there.
