After approximately 24 years in the fandom with the same avatar (I hate the term 'fursona'), I figured it was time to get a reference sheet ;)
Shimruno was offering ref. sheet commissions and, for a change, I had some funds available! The result is this slice of awesome ;) I may add some info text at some point, but I'm notoriously lazy >.>

Oh my friggen shooting stars... I found it... the image that I used as a template to help design a comic character of mine....
Yea about... I don't even know how long anymore, probably not long after this was even uploaded to the internet. I needed a template to mess around with a cheetah character that I was going to make a protagonist of a comic. I sketched out that first part entirely on a piece of paper, using a brightened laptop screen to help trace it. It was a pain to do, but I got it, left out the loincloth, and tested things out... then scanned it to color it a bit and to have a easier time redrawing parts I wasn't happy with... basically tracing over a trace (though I gave up at the boots because I wasn't happy).
years later here I am, where I ditched that original image, using it as a way to make my current but still really crappy ref, and now trying to make the comic... ironically finding this again years later because I don't have a image for a specific angle I need for the same character's face....
Wow... this is a wave of memories... I didn't even have a furafinity account when I made that trace sketch.
