I finally went back to the zoo a week and a half ago and took a shit load of photos. After spending hours upon hours of post processing, I'm finally done. I plan on uploading a ton of them over the next week or two (probably starting with the butterfly photos). This one was one of my favorites and I might actually get a print of it. Just need to figure out where I'm going to hang it. :3

It's like this pretty creature has its own source of light...it seems to glow from within.
I love the composition of this one; the strong diagonal of the butterfly's perch perch makes for a nice contrast that doesn't compete with the butterfly, but compliments it. Very, very nice! :)

These guys have a beautiful iridescence to them, but it took forever to get a photo of one with its wings out.
I also enjoy the composition. I would have preferred the subject to be further up in the frame (a bit more centered, maybe with a bias towards the bottom), but I barely had enough time to get this photo.
