This is somethign Ive wanted to do for a long time. Fire effects are quite fun, and putting those fire effects in such a way as to show motion adds an extra layer that I find appealing.

I've come a long way since her initial conception, and have improved both in terms of character design and artistic ability. Gale has always had a special place in my heart, even if I don't really use her anymore. Regardless, some of the bigger alterations aside from a shift in clothing style and colors is her species - once a "kinda just a housecat", her design is now more heavily inspired by Caracal cats, while retaining her monotone color scheme of whites and grays. Someone who was once a mary-sue jack-of-all-trades mage is now a pyromancer in training, narrowing her ability focus and giving her more room to grow. Coupled with a more fiery attitude and a reduction in age (19 years from the mid-30's she used to be) and i think she'll have a much more rounded personality. But more on that later when I make a more developed character ref sheet.
